Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

    Result: Win - KO

Within seconds, he puts Aldo on the floor with a hefty punch to the right side of his face. The subsequent blows to the downed man are stopped by a ref, cementing his victory in 13 seconds! The win earned him the UFC Featherweight Championship, making him a powerful player in the organization.

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

    Result: Win - Majority Decision

Details: McGregor fought Nate Diaz on 5 March 2016, and he lost (Submission). That loss was avenged in August when the two faced off against one another again in Las Vegas, and there was a lot on the line for McGregor.

Losing a second match to Diaz would have definitely wounded McGregor's pride, and he gave it his all. The match was intense, and McGregor delivered some serious punishment for five full rounds. He walked away with the win (Majority decision), redeeming his pride and furthering his career.

    Location: Dublin, Ireland

    Result: Win - TKO (Punches)

    Poirier Vs. McGregor

    Video: YouTube

Event: UFC 178: McGregor vs. Poirier - 27 Sep 2014

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

    Result: Win - TKO (Punches)

Details: When McGregor first faced off against Dustin Poirier, he was ranked ninth at featherweight against his opponent's fifth. On top of that, Poirier was riding a three-fight winning streak, but that didn't stop McGregor from coming out with the smack talk before the fight. The pressure was on for McGregor because a win would move him up the rankings, leading to a potential title fight in the future.

As soon as the siren sounded, McGregor proved to the world that his placement in the ranking below Poirier didn't mean a thing. He went at his opponent with ferocity, earning his win in one minute and 46 seconds. This match was the last time McGregor didn't headline a UFC Card, making it one of the most important fights of his career.
